As President-elect Donald J. Trump celebrated his electoral victory, he emphasized that his primary mission is nothing less than to “save our country.” His vision for achieving this is an ambitious agenda that aims to fundamentally reshape the landscape of government, foreign policy, national security, economic policy, and domestic affairs in a manner that could rival the transformative changes seen in modern presidential history.
Throughout his campaign, Mr. Trump articulated a series of proposals for his potential second term that promise to be far more sweeping than the policies he implemented during his first. Additionally, he has threatened to investigate President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and others who have opposed him, including members of his own party, such as Liz Cheney, the former congresswoman from Wyoming.
