Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, often referred to as MbS, is set to arrive in Brussels on Wednesday for the inaugural EU-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit. This significant event marks a pivotal moment for diplomatic relations between the European Union and the Gulf states, with discussions expected to encompass a broad spectrum of critical issues, including global security, trade relations, and the impact of climate change.
This visit is particularly noteworthy as it represents Prince Mohammed’s second official trip to Brussels; his first was in 2015 when he participated in the Global Coalition against ISIS.
