To the Editor:
Dear Mr. Trump,
First and foremost, congratulations on your decisive victory — well done! It was indeed a challenging night for me and, I suspect, for millions of others who were hoping for a different outcome. However, your victory speech marked a positive first step towards healing for many of us, and I want to extend my gratitude for that. You adopted a tone that was constructive and notably less divisive than what we witnessed in previous speeches and throughout the campaign.
I sincerely hope you will maintain this spirit by addressing the nation directly with a message such as: “Kamala Harris conducted an honorable campaign, and now it is time for our country to unite. I will be a president for all Americans, dedicated to honoring our diversity, safeguarding our way of life, and promoting unity across this great nation. I want to reassure every American that my administration will not penalize individuals simply for holding different political views.”
Such a statement would serve as a remarkable foundation for your presidency in 2025 and, in my opinion, would facilitate the effective implementation of your agenda.
Best regards,

To the Editor:
To my fellow progressive liberals, it is essential to recognize that your presumption of holding the moral high ground, along with your condescending, arrogant, and judgmental sense of elitist entitlement, has been met with a strong backlash. The malicious hate, envy, and name-calling, coupled with the abusive persecution of your opponents through the media and the justice system, have all been firmly rejected by the American populace.
It was not merely the state of the economy, the issues surrounding the border, or rising crime rates, nor was it solely the international crises that have emerged from your perceived weakness. It was much deeper than that.
At the heart of this rejection lies a fundamental sense of fairness that resonates with all Americans, along with an unwavering desire for freedom and justice. You have been dismissed, and there is much work ahead for you to regain any semblance of relevance in our society.
