Upon entering this unique boutique, visitors are welcomed by a breathtaking installation in the atrium, crafted by renowned architect Shohei Shigematsu of the Office for Metropolitan Architecture. Four magnificent pillars, constructed from stacked Louis Vuitton trunks, reach toward the soaring 50-foot ceiling, evoking a playful yet sophisticated game of Tetris.
“Stepping into a Louis Vuitton store is about embarking on a journey,” remarked Pietro Beccari, the chief executive of Louis Vuitton, in an email. This sentiment encapsulates the brand’s commitment to creating immersive and memorable shopping experiences.
Since Mr. Beccari took the helm, Louis Vuitton has fervently worked to position itself not just as a luxury brand but as a cultural icon. Earlier this year, he showcased tennis legends Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in a stunning advertising campaign set against the backdrop of the majestic Dolomites. Furthermore, in 2023, he made waves by appointing music producer Pharrell Williams as the creative director for Louis Vuitton’s men’s line.

Louis Vuitton has enlisted the talents of esteemed French chefs Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frédéric, who will oversee various culinary projects, including Le Café.
